Silver Lake Tattoo Artist to Attempt World Record: In 2007 L.A. Ink’s Kat Von D broke the world record for most tattoos done in 24 hours with 417 tattoos. This record has since been broken twice over, but Jeremy Swan, owner of Broken Art Tattoo in Silver Lake, wants to bring the title back to L.A.
How does it work? “Abiding to the rules of Guinness the tattoo must be 1.25 x 3 inches and have a minimum of two colors. I will offer 4 different designs. A bat. A heart with wings. The letters ‘LA’. And the number ‘13′ (for Friday the 13th) you can get one or all of these designs.” It’s not free, though. The first design will cost $20 with $10 for each extra.
